By developing service and leadership opportunities for young people and service learning support for teachers, Interact promotes the ethic of service, fosters youth leadership, builds community, and enhances education in the Silicon Valley.
Interact Club of Silicon Valley strives to encourage high school students to participate in helping the community and leadership.
Interact Mission Statement:
Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. Through these efforts, Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and learn the importance of:
-Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
-Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
-Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
-Advancing international understanding and goodwill.

Service Above Self
Each year, ICSV organizes at least one international project where members travel abroad to conduct community service around the world. Since the formation of the club, we have travelled to Taiwan, Szechuan, and Africa.
Perhaps what truly sets ICSV apart from other Interact clubs is our classes. It is our biggest fundraising project in the entire year. Club members organize and design their own curriculum to teach students. 100% of the tuition money goes towards charitable causes.
Every Month, we provide different kinds of volunteering opportunities to help out the local community as well as Rotary Clubs.
Each year, we send passionate board members to RYLA, a Rotary leadership training camp, in order to train their public speaking skills and improve the members' leadership skills among others.
